M-52 6x6 5-Ton Truck Tractor

The 5-ton 6x6 models were introduced in the early 1950s and went through a number of changes, including a short bed and engine modifications. The spare tire assembly and toolbox were mounted behind the cab. It weighs about 18,813 lgs. In the early 1970s, the M-52s were the only trucks used in the Army's inventory. During the Viet Nam conflict, most 5-ton tractors were used for carrying cargo through enemy territory.
